Permanent Full-time position

Starting annual income DOE: $43,848-$61,633

Schedule:  Full time- 40 hours per week–some flexibility per hours

The Executive Administrative Assistant is responsible for reporting directly to the Executive Director and receiving delegated assignments which will assist in the overall management of the agency.  This position requires accuracy, organization, diplomacy, the ability to work independently, the focus to meet deadlines and to plan for future criterions. A background in administration is helpful.


  • Must communicate effectively both orally and in writing, proficient in handling matters with tack, diplomacy, sensitivity and helpfulness
  • Knowledge of computer applications in spreadsheet, database, and word processing
  • Experience with record keeping and files management
  • Strong analytic skills and proficiency in decision-making
  • Ability to synthesize information and relay clearly and succinctly
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills


  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years experience in an office setting
  • A working knowledge of computer accounting systems and general business software
  • Ability to create excel spreadsheets
  • Must pass a DHSS background check, or be eligible for filing a variance
  • Must have a current AK driver’s license and be insurable by current GHS auto insurance carrier
  • Must pass drug testing upon hire
