Resident Advisor – Relief
On-Call, As Needed, Non-exempt
Starting Pay is $18.81/hr – Typically works 12-hour shifts with built-in overtime
Examples of Primary Duties:
- Admits and discharges residents
- Provides accountability for tracking of residents while in the facility and out in the community
- Works with residents to ensure they sign in and out as required
- Administers breath analysis tests and urinalysis tests according to a set schedule
- Screens and admits visitors into the facility
- Operates and monitors visual and audio monitoring equipment
- Present with a polite, professional demeanor when dealing with the public and other agencies
- Use appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication in managing conflict in high-anxiety situations
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must pass a criminal background check and have a valid Alaska driver’s license
- Pre-employment drug screen required
