Angel “Cat” Catindig Jr. is an Army veteran who has proudly called Alaska home for 18 years. With over 16 years of experience in emergency services, spanning law enforcement, fire and life safety, and emergency medical services, Cat has dedicated his career to public safety and supporting people through their most challenging moments.

Most recently, Cat served as an Adult Probation Officer with the Alaska Department of Corrections, where he built strong partnerships with local re-entry organizations. In this role, he connected justice-involved individuals with resources that fostered positive change, stability, and successful community reintegration.

Cat’s commitment to service extends beyond his professional work. He remains active with charitable organizations and volunteers with Capital City Fire & Rescue, reflecting a lifelong dedication to strengthening the community he calls home.
